Cultural heritage revitalization event to launch in Quanzhou

Silk Road Dialogue: World Heritage Creation and Enjoyment, part of the 2025 Maritime Silk Road International Cultural Tourism Festival, will open on Dec 12 at the Quanzhou Maritime Museum.

This event, in collaboration with Chinese National Geography, will present the "The Ultimate China – Culture and Museum Creative Market" 2025 World Heritage Quanzhou special session, featuring over 60 leading museums and cultural and creative brands showcasing more than 1,000 cultural and creative products.

Sixteen prominent cultural figures from countries including China, Tunisia, Morocco, the Netherlands, and Malaysia will gather to discuss heritage preservation, innovation, digital technology empowerment, and the integration of cultural tourism, offering diverse insights into the vitality of cultural heritage.

The event will also feature a market combining cultural and creative products, intangible cultural heritage, cuisine, and communication, with a special focus on Quanzhou's local delicacies. Visitors can enjoy an immersive experience of local flavors and cultural heritage, including interactive activities such as a Xunpu zanhuawei (floral accessory headdress) experience.
