Intercity Transport: Quanzhou Jinjiang International Airport
The airport, which is eight kilometers from downtown Quanzhou, Fujian province, is fully equipped with flying security and servicing facilities with domestic and international waiting rooms that meet international standards. It operates domestic and regional lines to Hong Kong, Macao, Manila in the Philippines and Okinawa in Japan. The airport is a modern facility and one of the three airline bases supporting the Fujian airline business.
Intercity Transport: High-Speed Railway Station
The Fu-Xia (Fuzhou-Xiamen) railway is a key part of the coastal railway system. It includes Quanzhou Station and Jinjiang Station in Quanzhou, from where trains depart to Xiamen, Longyan and Fuzhou, and also cross the province to Wenzhou, Ningbo and Hangzhou in Zhejiang province and Shanghai. It unites the high-speed railway, the planning city light railway, the long-distance bus station and the public bus terminal into a large integrated transport network.
Intercity Transport: Quanzhou East Train Station
The Quanzhou East Train Station, originally known as Quanzhou Train Station, is the terminal station of the Zhang-Quan (Zhangzhou-Quanzhou) Railway. The station runs luxurious fast trains to Wuchang in Wuhan and average fast trains to Ganzhou in Jiangxi province on daily return trips. It has opened several direct travel and freight lines from Quanzhou to Longyan, Ganzhou, Hangzhou and Wuyi Mountain inside and outside the province.
Intercity Transportation: Shijing Passenger Pier
Shijing Passenger Pier, which is less than 20 kilometers from downtown Quanzhou, serves as a transport line for the Quan-Tai (Quanzhou-Taiwan) three links (trade, travel and post) with two passenger liners and a luxurious ship liner. The line goes from Shijing in Nan'an to Jinmen six times a day, providing a fast and convenient journey with very beautiful scenery along the way. It has become a golden route for passengers traveling between Quanzhou and Taiwan for business and communication purposes.
