The 2023 Quanzhou - Yokohama - Gwangju Arts Performance was staged in Quanzhou Song and Dance Theatre on the evening of Dec 9.

Sun & Friends, a dance company from Gwangju, South Korea, put up a performance titled "Integral" that expressed the philosophical relationship between the truth and the world using modern dance.

Following this was the performance by OrganWorks, a dance company from Yokohama, Japan titled "Dissolution".

Additionally, performers from Quanzhou put up a dance themed on string puppets and songs featuring characteristics of southern Fujian.

"This is my first time coming to the beautiful city of Quanzhou for an exchange performance," said Maho Takahashi, a member of the Yokohama dance company. "I look forward to seeing more cultural and artistic exchanges between China, Japan, and South Korea in the future."
