Titled "Millennium Carving Art & Maritime Silk Road", the fine carving art exhibition, part of the fifth Maritime Silk Road International Arts Festival, will open on Dec 12 at the Carving Art Museum in Quanzhou Taiwan Investment Zone.

Preparations are currently underway. The exhibition, covering an area of approximately 10,000 sqm, focuses on carving art works made in countries along the Maritime Silk Road, and is divided into the Carving Art History Area, the "Artisanal Garden" Area, and the "Cross-Strait Carving Art Exhibition" Area. It will display over 500 masterpieces of carving art from both sides of the Taiwan Strait. The exhibition also features a zone dedicated to experiencing intangible cultural heritage.

It will invite masters of various carving techniques, including stone-shadow carving, lacquer thread sculpture, and wood carving, to perform live demonstrations of their skills and techniques.
