Quanzhou has always attached great importance to foreign investment and since the start of the year, the city has organized investment promotions while following strict novel coronavirus epidemic prevention and control measures.

It is estimated that from January to August this year, foreign direct investment in the city hit 3.05 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 21.7 percent.

In the future, Quanzhou will focus on promoting its all-round and high-level opening-up.

It will continue to optimize its business environment and provide better, more convenient and efficient services for all types of businesses, they added.

With its theme of "revitalizing investment confidence and promoting win-win cooperation", this year’s CIFIT has attracted businesses from 42 countries and regions, including the United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium, Japan and South Korea.
