On July 1, four key projects started construction and one project completed construction in Fengze district, Quanzhou, a city in East China's Fujian province. The projects are in the fields of education, archival services, and hotels.

With an investment of more than 2.3 billion yuan ($325.3 million), the four started projects are Yucai Campus of Fengze District Experimental Primary School, Quanzhou Feili Sheraton Hotel, Quanzhou Qilong Logistics E-commerce Building and Libiao Metro Plaza. The project that has been completed is Fengze District Archives Center.

Yucai Campus of Fengze District Experimental Primary School

As a key project in Fengze district in 2020, the school covers an area of 34.7 mu (2.31 hectares), with a total construction investment of 185 million yuan.

It will include 36 teaching classes (45 students per class), which will meet the educational needs of school-age children in the region, and, integrated with surrounding projects, form part of a livable environment incorporating education, leisure, business and homes.

Quanzhou Feili Sheraton Hotel

The hotel covers a construction area of 30,000 square meters, with a total investment of 1 billion yuan, and is expected to open to the public on Sept 16, 2023.

It is planned to become a central hub of the high-end and cultural circle of the Fengze and Luojiang districts of Quanzhou, helping to upgrade the quality of the urban area and the international tourism city brand of Quanzhou.

Quanzhou Qilong Logistics E-commerce Building

Covering an area of 11.7 mu, the e-commerce building has a planned investment of 450 million yuan, and will complete construction in 2021.

Upon completion, it will be a one-stop commercial office building integrating offices, marketing, finance, information, design, warehousing, and distribution.

Libiao Metro Plaza

With an investment of nearly 600 million yuan, this project will provide supporting commercial, financial and hotel facilities for Quanzhou Software Park.

Fengze District Archives Center

The Fengze District Archives Center is a key construction project for social research in Fengze district, with a total land area of 6,000 square meters and a total investment of 68 million yuan.

It will collect historical, social, economic, and cultural data from various periods in the district and documentary archives of government departments, organizations and public institutions.
