The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs recently highlighted a number of National Modern Agricultural Technology Demonstration Bases, and Quanzhou modern agricultural technology demonstration park made the list.

Located in Luoyang town, Quanzhou Taiwan Investment Zone in Quanzhou, East China's Fujian province, the park was established and is operated by the Quanzhou Institute of Agricultural Science.

Since 2017, it has undertaken 42 national, provincial and municipal agricultural science and technology projects, demonstrating 33 new varieties of crops, 36 new technologies (models) and 54 new products (facility equipment).

As one of the core areas in Quanzhou National Agricultural Science and Technology Park, the park's capacity for innovation has ranked among the top 10 in the country for three consecutive years.

This year, it will focus on food security, ecological agriculture, displays of cultivation techniques for high-quality new rice varieties, fully-automated technical procedures, ecological orchard cultivation techniques, and key technologies for the industrialization of aromatic plants.

In addition, it will organize three training activities on new agricultural technologies, and 10 exchange activities with Taiwan.
