Relying on the existing terminal facilities at Shihu Port, operator Shanghai PANASIA Shipping Co has invested in two ships with a capacity of 10,000 metric tons and will dock at ports in Xiamen, Fuqing, Zhapu and Shanghai along the route.

Officials said imported goods on the route can be transited through Quanzhou to South China and the Pearl River Delta Economic Zone.

Export goods can be shipped through Shanghai to the Yangtze River Economic Belt, providing convenient import and export channels and diversified logistics options for Quanzhou’s local companies.
