In order to promote the continued optimization of the business environment for cross-border e-commerce in Quanzhou, a city in East China's Fujian province, an online public service platform and an offline service window was officially launched in Quanzhou Comprehensive Bonded Zone on Nov 9.

The online public service platform is a big data hub based on an online integrated service platform, with the task of ensuring data security.

It uses the data standards, certification system and information sharing system established by the public service platform. With it, the platform can guarantee better data exchanges and sharing between customs, foreign exchange management, taxation and market supervision.

It can also realize public service functions such as identity authentication, secure transactions, convenient customs clearances, quality traceability, fee payments, credit guarantees and full logistics, providing one-stop comprehensive services for various market entities conducting cross-border e-commerce.

Quanzhou Comprehensive Bonded Zone plans to leverage the online public service platform and offline service window, to develop its cross-border e-commerce online shopping bonded import and export business.

In recent years, Quanzhou's cross-border e-commerce has achieved sustained and rapid growth, with strong growth potential.

Statistics show that from January to August this year, the value of the city's cross-border e-commerce imports and exports reached 2.35 billion yuan ($356.73 million), a year-on-year increase of 210.8 percent.
