As an important part of the Haiwan Avenue project in Quanzhou Taiwan Investment Zone, the construction of the new Baishawan Park in Quanzhou, a city in East China's Fujian province, has entered preparatory phase.

It will be a belt-shaped urban green space going from east to west, with a total area of 37.76 hectares.

Spanning a length of 3.6 kilometers, the narrowest point is 45 meters wide and it measures 192 m at its widest point. It is expected to be completed in the first half of next year.

Unlike other coastal promenades in other areas where the design is mostly straight, Baishawan Park will imitate the well-known urban seaside landscape design in Benidorm city in Spain, to create a 3D wave effect.

The surrounding areas are mainly villages and farming land, with beautiful natural landscape and a large and well-preserved beach.

The park will integrate a green landscape with functional areas for beach games, promenading and leisure activities. In addition, there will be a fully equipped services center and other features such as three designated leisure areas, two public toilets and eight special squares.
